Sentinels by the Bay

Sentinels by the Bay by Debra Hood

Spread along Shorncliffe shores, like a row of sentinels, Cottonwood tree form a protective stance against the oncoming salty sea winds. This artwork is a vibrant tapestry filled with intricate details like dogs, people, flying foxes, and birds, each carefully painted to showcase their unique personalities.

The violet sky glows above as White Ibis live amongst the Moreton Bay figs, ready to snatch your chips; and children play among the trees as life happens throughout this historical suburb.

Sentinels by the Bay has been a labour of love that seeks to capture the historic architecture and lush scenery of the bayside area.
